Introduction to Grouting for Dams: On-Demand
Speakers: Trent L. Dreese, P.E., Vice President; David B. Wilson, P.E., Vice President; and Daniel P. Stare, P.E., Project Manager, Gannett Fleming, Inc.
PDHs: This webinar is eligible for 2 PDH credits.
This webinar is intended to provide an introduction to dam foundation grouting for dam regulators, owners, and consultants. Topics covered will include determining the need and applicability of grouting, types of foundation grouting, an explanation of the grouting process including common variations in grouting techniques, grout mixes, and recent advancements in grouting technology. The information presented will be illustrated using case studies of grouting for new dams and for dam remediation projects. There are no specific education or experience perquisites for this webinar, although some knowledge/experience of dam design would be beneficial.
